Kukryniksy
Kukryniksy was a trio of Soviet artists, Mikhail Kupriyanov, Porfiry Krylov, and Nikolai Sokolov, who were active almost continuously throughout the Soviet Union's existence. The name 'Kukryniksy' is a portmanteau from the artists' name: Ku from Kupriyanov, Kry from Krylov and Nik from Nikolai (and the -sy being a Russian plural ending.
